We love busking at Christmas and in Dec 2023 we sang for an hour in Holmbush Shopping Centre for our local hospice - St Barnabas House. It's even nicer when we get a lovely thank you from the charity letting us know we managed to raise over £150! |

Sussex Prairie Gardens, Morlands Farm, near Henfield Sunday 14 August 2022 We'll be singing as part of the fantastic Indian Summer Bazaar. We sing the very best songs – fab fifties, swinging sixties, beautiful ballads, classic show tunes. Even the occasional rock anthem. We’re all about fun, friendship and harmony. There’s no audition and we’re open to all ability levels. All you need is to identify as a woman and have the desire to sing. We practise Thursday evenings in Southwick, West Sussex – come along to any rehearsal and hear for yourselves. |
We love to sing in Music Festivals and were delighted when Woking announced they were going ahead with their competition in 2021, with virtual entries. We’re very proud of what we achieved during lockdown, but after months of solitary singing in kitchens, bedrooms and living rooms, it was grand to be singing together again in close harmony, if only for the camera. We were even prouder when our selection of three songs took first prize and we won the Radbone Cup in the Ladies Choir Class. One of our quartets, Ice 'n' Slice were also winners and received The Merrow Chimes Shield for their performance in the Barbershop Quartet class. | |

This COVID thing has seriously clipped our performance wings so we were thrilled when our local Tesco let us sing carols for shoppers just before Christmas. Not only did we have some festive fun but we also collected money for the Rockinghorse Sussex Children’s Charity. And what a generous audience we had! More than £180 raised. Thank you to everyone. Here’s hoping we can be out-and-about singing more in 2022. |
